It breaks my heart when I see a company won over by the pushy phone book sales rep, because I know what is going to happen, and it is not good for the customer. However, be careful with those sales reps, because they can get pretty aggressive when you tell them no! I have had reps tell more than one of my customers if he is not going to cut back on his Yellow Pages ads and not use their ‘Great’ Yo-Yo of a service, they should just pull their listing all together and not do any business.
Competition is good, but I like to live in a business world where morals and ethics are valued. Where you can trust businesses will do what they say they are going to do. These unethical companies generate more business for me in the long run, because when people realize they need a firm that will stand behind what they say, and truly partner and care about their company’s success, while educating them for lasting sustainability, they come to ISOCNET.
However, it disgusts me on a personal note to know that businesses are out there to prey on others, causing them misfortunes, misrepresenting them, and hurting their business to make a buck.
So, to all you unethical businesses - it will not get you anywhere in the long run! And remember, what goes around comes around. You will get yours in the end.
