Answer: “This is a perfect time for Co-location!”
Question: “How can Our Company save money during today’s economic difficulties?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We all know it and we’ve all heard it, “Times are hard”. So let me say it again, “This is a perfect time for Co-location!” ISOCNET can help your company save money, make a difference and keep business going.
What is Co-location, you ask?
If you look it up, you will see that it is the act of placing multiple, most of the time related, entities within a single location.
For example take the food business, KFC and Taco Bell have used this concept and combined some of their restaurants into one location. This brings in double business and income!
For a web-based business, why not get these advantages without the capital expense? Co-location costs less than building your own facility. Let ISOCNET‘s World Class Data Center be your single location for your server(s) and provide that home for part of your IT world.
What is the difference between a Co-location and Dedicated Server?
· Co-located Server
o The Server is your own
o You manage the hardware that the data resides on
o You pay the hosting company a “housing fee”
· Dedicated Server
o You do not have your own Server
o The Server itself is owned or rented by the hosting company and you lease it from them
o Some companies will build a server custom for you
o The hosting company will manage the hardware.
ISOCNET’s Infrastructure
Our World Class Data Center has adequate space, temperature control and security. Servers would be stored in this optimal structure which is specifically built for this equipment. The air is a constant flow and filtered which will keep the dust out, our clients servers will look the same when they take it out as the day it did when it was installed.
ISOCNET‘s Data Center is the main communications HUB for the Midwest and the Greater Cincinnati area and second on the FEMA list. This means in case of a natural disaster, this building will be restored second only to the Utility Company.
Our Data Center takes no chances…they don’t wait for a Storm to shut us down. Our Data Center was prepared when the last Wind Storm hit, which took most of the power out around the Tri-State area. Six hours prior to the storm’s arrival generators were turned on, ready for when / if the Data Center would be affected. The Data Center has 6 GE Aircraft generators that hold 2 days worth of fuel. These generators are also backed up by batteries that will kick on until the generators kick back on.
Below are just a few great things we have to offer:
- Our Data Center reduces the chance of power outages by having a Dual power grid, this means 2 lines come in to the facility independently.
- Most Data Centers will have you bring your own redundant batter backup, AC and DC, which can cost anywhere from $900-$1,000. ISOCNET includes this with their services.
- You can rest assure on security, our data center is under 24/7 monitoring with security guards and cameras. No one is allowed in the facility unless they are escorted by our Tech Admin. This must be scheduled prior to the visit so our Team has time to call the Data Center and have your representative added to the list to be escorted in.
- Our Data Center has no single point of failure and the internet cannot go down, we will jump on another connection if need be.
- Our Data Center houses all the major telecommunication carriers.
- Our Data Center is HIPPA and SAS70 Type II Compliant.
- ISOCNET offers two 100 megabit connections to the Internet. This means your server receives and spits out information just as quickly as the users can possibly come and get the data from the server.
- While other companies shut you off if your bandwidth goes over, ISOCNET will not do this. We will notify and bill you for the overage.
- Other companies tell you they will not throttle or cap your bandwidth, but often do.
