Uptime: You are looking for a good uptime backed with terms. You want to know your hosting provider makes updates a priority and makes every effort to keep your website up and running.
Speed: Load times are key. Everyone wants to see your site NOW. If the server is too slow, then you will lose visitors. You built the site, you need visitors be able to interact with it…quickly!
Support: Your website is the face of your company. When you need something, you want to make sure you are going to get the support you deserve in a timely manner. Make sure this is not something outsourced. Try to call the support and see what kind of response time you get.
Price: Many companies put out a 3-year price or promotional price, but when you get into it, it changes. Also, you may not want to lock into that term, no matter the price.
Security: Having security options and requirements are a must. Sites are hacked everyday. While some security falls on you, having options and features available is an important discussion to have.
How do I pick the right plan for me?
Application: It is important to understand what application you are using. If you are using a WordPress or WooCommerce, you want to look for a hosting optimized for your applications.
